A Lighter takes animated shots through the lighting, rendering, and compositing workflow and produces beautiful images, ready for audiences. At a mid-level position, the artist has already been working professionally in production for at least one year. They have the responsibility of managing their time to complete full sequences within the deadline given, and communicating with the supervisor if there are problems or concerns. The artist must have enough experience in Maya to know the best way to go about a problem, and be open to changing their tactics to align with any requests given to them by the Lighting Supervisor.
